The world’s number one professional skin care brand, Dermalogica, has just launched its nationwide Face Mapping® campaign for 2015. With a target of 3,500 Face Maps, the aim of this four-month campaign is to educate kiwis on skin health, and drive consumers into Dermalogica Skin Centres.

Face Mapping® combines three aspects for analysis: visual examination of the skin; examination of the skin by touch and “reading” of the skin as an indicator of internal organ health; and drawing upon the centuries old tradition of Chinese Facial Diagnosis. Unlike a standard skin consultation, Face Mapping® divides the skin into 14 zones, taking into consideration the possibility of several skin conditions on the face at any one time. This detailed analysis enables the Skin Therapist to prescribe a customised, zone-by-zone skin care regime to target and treat individual concerns.

Dermalogica brand ambassadors, Angela Bloomfield, Marc Moore, Tiffany Jeans, Kara Rickard and Anna Julienne will appear in key magazines over the four month period to illustrate the different customised prescriptions that result from being Face Mapped and encourage others to do the same. New Zealanders can get face mapped at local events hosted across the country and online at facemapping.co.nz. Once the online Face Map is completed the recipient will receive a $25 Dermalogica product or treatment voucher and sample pack that is redeemable in store at any Dermalogica Skin Centre. All online Face Map recipients will enter the draw to win their entire product prescription.
