With 2014 drawing to a close, I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to all of our customers, therapists and blog readers (!) for your support throughout 2014. Without each of you we simply wouldn’t be where we are today. You are the reason we exist and the essence of our company. And on behalf of the team at S.H.E, I thank you for the honour of knowing and supporting you throughout the year.

2014 has been a momentous year for our company and the brands we represent. Dermalogica (true to form) has caused waves and rocked the boat with our Price Harmonisation strategy. Never one’s to blend in, ‘go with the flow’ or stick our heads in the sand, we have confronted issues of diversion and parallel importing directly by readdressing our price point, and I have to say, this has been a hugely successful strategy for our Dermalogica skin centres nationwide. We know this as you tell us, and it is reflected in the growth of Dermalogica throughout New Zealand. We look forward to continuing to communicate the message of Price Harmonisation in 2015 and driving consumers to purchase genuine, authentic Dermalogica from their local skin centre… and the marketing team have some pretty cool ideas around how we are going to support you here in 2015. All I will say is, time to brush up on those Face Mapping skills!

In addition to Price Harmonisation, we have rocked some incredible promotions this year (CambelBak Hydration gift!), launched some cutting edge new products and treatments (PowerBright TRx & BioSurface Peel) and further honed and developed our digital marketing tools with the launch of our very own Microsites for Dermalogica stockists. In 2015 you can expect to see more of the same… Except BIGGER and BETTER! A sneak peek… March will see an exciting FITE gift with purchase, April we launch a phenomenal new Primer and stay tuned for new developments with our microsites for stockists. Our mission is to support you to be more successful in business and we certainly have some amazing promotions, products and tools to help you achieve this in 2015.

Dermalogica aside, we are very excited about the success and momentum with eyeSlices in New Zealand, and the launch of our two newest brands in October… Spring Spa Wear and Billion Dollar Brows. We will be launching a beautiful range of Spring Spa Wear bed linen in the New Year so stay tuned for that! We also look forward to sharing some tips and tricks on how to grow your Brow Business in 2015 following our pop up Brow Bar with Billion Dollar Brows at Westfield Albany this Nov/Dec.

Christmas is such a busy time of year in our industry and I wish you all the very best for the remainder of 2014! Please be reminded to take good care of yourselves and enjoy your summer holidays. We look forward to seeing you again in 2015.

P.S. In the spirit of Christmas, this year we donated a selection of children’s toys and presents to Starship Children's Hospital on behalf of all our customers. The team had a lot of fun wrapping these presents for the children and we know that they will be greatly appreciated.
