The core of skin health begins in a professionals hands, and today’s skin care professional must offer what today’s client demands. Chemical peels are one of the fastest growing and most requested skin treatment services today, which has lead Dermalogica to launch their answer to the chemical Peel, new BioSurface Peel. This intense resurfacing treatment combined with the post care treatment products, leaves skin smoother, brighter and visibly rejuvenated – without the side effects and downtime often associated with chemical peels.

BioSurface Peel is a biologically active, biphasic peel that will decrease surface roughness, treat acne, reduce fine lines and help fade pigmentation in the epidermis and dermal-epidermal interface. It delivers what so many skin care professionals have sought for their advanced treatments: an efficacious system that produces visible results without triggering the adverse side effects of aggressive chemical peels. “Today’s skin care industry is changing and clients are demanding more dramatic results. Our expertly trained therapists, can now achieve optimum results for their clients without the disadvantages or downtime of other chemical peels available today”, Emma Hobson, Education Manager Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

The launch of the BioSurface Peel was held at an event hosted by Skin Health Experts (S.H.E) at Auckland’s Sofitel Hotel this July. The launch was fronted by Dr. Diana Howard, who is Vice President of Research and Development and Global Education for the International Dermal Institute and who lead the development of the new range. She was joined by Dermalogica Education Manager for Asia, Australia and NZ, Emma Hobson. The presentation also included a live demonstration of the BioSurface Peel by Head of Education for New Zealand, Caroline Parker. The launch event was a great opportunity for over 80 members of the Dermalogica tribe in NZ to get together and enjoy a glass of champagne after the presentation and to meet our inspiring presenters.

More advanced treatments to come – for Dermalogica, BioSurface Peel is just the tip of the iceberg. Cutting edge product innovations to further reinforce the expertise of the Professional Skin Therapist are set to launch in 2015!
